Large Event Support – the advent of the cellular phone has changed the way people communicate, so much so that large gatherings of people put a huge stress on wireless communications networks. These networks are designed to handle a typical over subscription rate anywhere from 1 – 20 calls per minute depending on the provider. A large event can saturate the typical cell site in minutes. The availability of a mobile communications tower allows the service provider to adjust the network as needed where needed without sacrificing service or quality. This has caused the FCC to mandate several directives, most notably Enhanced 911 services to provide the location information of the caller. There are still many areas across the United States that are still consider “grey area coverage” because of the lack of service.

A mobile communications tower allows the service provider to provide greater coverage and reduce the “grey area” within their cellular network and maintaining the FCC directives for E911 service.
